Day 2 – Letea Forest
A full day of discovery through Europe’s northernmost subtropical forest — wild horses, winding canals, and authentic village charm.
From your guesthouse on the canal, we venture deep into nature — combining slow travel by boat, a horse-drawn cart ride, and a guided forest walk through one of the Danube Delta’s most iconic destinations.

| 12:30 p.m. | Arrive in Letea village. Ride by horse-drawn cart across sandy lanes to the edge of the Letea Forest Reserve. |
| 1:00–2:30 p.m. | Guided walk through the protected Letea Forest — learn about its rare plant species, sand dune ecosystems, and the free-roaming wild horses. |
| 2:30 p.m. | Return to the village for a traditional fish lunch prepared by local hosts. Don’t miss the famous Delta-style fish soup. |
| 4:00 p.m. | Board the boat for your return journey to Crisan. Birdwatching, golden reed beds, and floating lilies accompany the route. |
| 6:30 p.m. | Arrive back at accommodation. Relax, unwind, and enjoy your surroundings. |
| 8:00 p.m. | Dobrogean dinner is served — a blend of regional flavours and traditional cooking methods. Perfect end to a full day. |
