We’re a local team with over 18 years of experience in the tourism industry. Over time, we’ve learned how to go beyond organizing trips — we create experiences that stay with people long after they return home.
Our journey started in corporate tourism, organizing international conferences, company retreats, and tailor-made travel programs for clients across Europe and beyond.
Although we took pride in delivering seamless logistics, our true dream was always something more: to take international guests beyond city streets and conference rooms, and into the heart of Romania — its wild nature, quiet mountains, and the living wonder of the Danube Delta.
At Camira Events & Travel, we hold internationally recognized certifications (ISO 9001 since 2008 and ISO 14001 since 2015) and are proud members of ANAT, Incoming Romania, and ETOA – the European Tourism Association. Every partnership we’ve built reflects our professionalism. And every tourist who leaves with unforgettable memories reminds us why we do this.

With our own fleet of 4×4 vehicles, we’ve guided hundreds of guests through Romania’s hidden gems: spectacular mountain roads, ancient forests, forgotten villages, and panoramic viewpoints that take your breath away.
It was our way of revealing another side of Romania — raw, real, and beautifully unexpected.
AND THAT’S HOW “DANUBE DELTA BY NOMAD” WAS BORN.
We chose the Danube Delta because we know it intimately. Our lead guide has over 40 years of experience navigating these waters. He’s a certified boat captain, an expert on local wildlife, a former documentary filmmaker, and a gifted storyteller who brings this magical place to life.
Every excursion is more than a tour — it’s a deep, meaningful encounter with nature. From drifting past wild pelicans to discovering secluded fishing villages, every route is carefully planned to show you something rare and unforgettable. You’ll see ancient forests, meet wild horses in Letea, and witness a rhythm of life untouched by time.
